Meet the protestor who’s standing up to Congress. We’re talking to Palestinian American Motaz Salim about his recent activism with CodePink (remember our convo with Medea Benjamin?) to get in Congress’s face about its continued support of Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Moataz has lost an unfathomable 100 family members to Israel’s slaughter and is determined to confront those in power with his own humanity.
Because Congress depends upon a lack of accountability in its support of militarism and murder in foreign countries, meeting and learning from the people who attempt to hold them to account is essential.
