KK&F is bringing you a deep dive on the past and present of Israel this week, investigating the political background of the current conflict. The truce between Israel and Hamas has been lengthened by two days, and hostages have been released by both sides; a 14-year-old child imprisoned by Israel described the hunger and oppression that he faced in captivity. After fifty-three days of war, with the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by Israeli military forces totaling over 14,800 deaths, a permanent ceasefire has yet to be reached. And if American politicians ultimately support it in sufficient numbers, it’ll be a result of tireless pressure from everyday citizens.
Our guest is anti-war libertarian Scott Horton, who’s reported on the Israel-Palestine conflict recently. We look forward to a wide-ranging discussion on this important issue, and we hope you’ll join us. Paying subscribers can tune in Friday night for the video of our conversation; everyone else, join us when the audio is released Saturday through all major streaming platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pandora, and more. See you later this week!
