I was misdiagnosed with ocular migraines after many visits too the doctor. I flew from San Diego to Boston, en route to moving to Taiwan, and in a MA emergency room I was diagnosed within 20 minutes of arriving there with a golf ball sized(benign but life threatening) brain tumor! I was rushed to Boston in an ambulance (where I waited all day to be seen by a doctor).
My doctor in San Diego not once thought to order a CT scan, because such medical tests are too expensive!
I’ve been living in Taiwan for 14 years, and enjoy National Health Insurance and fantastic healthcare.
I will donate to Amy’s campaign!
