This conversation also failed to address arguably the most important question – who’s ultimately responsible for the current state of things? And what would it take to fundamentally change it? I believe during his Talks at Google appearance Jesse was asked – traditionally – about running for President. He answered to the effect that he’d see that as another sacrifice for his country. Which he would totally consider but he needed to see the willingness on the part of the American people to offer equal sacrifice. But he didn’t see that. That’s the most critical point. It would be seriously disingenuous and – borrowing from Kyle’s parlance – “factually incorrect” to blame the present state of affairs exclusively on the corrupt Elite. And as long as “We the People” choose to wait for a Savior – even coming in such unlikely disguises as Trump or Sanders – well…”nothing will fundamentally change”.
I'm sorry, but you can't say "leave education to the states" and then say you are FOR universal healthcare. Education should be a universal right too. To say, leave education to the states and if "Mississippi sucks at education, that's their fault" - that's a TERRIBLE policy. Our children have ZERO control over education policies or funding. That kind of belief DOOMS children in our poorest states. PERIOD.
It’s going to be a real shit show when the check-mate situation finally sinks in with the working 20-30 year olds that they have no effective means to adequately financially navigate their 60’s,70’s,80’s leaving them in destitution and poverty. Pensions are essentially gone, 401k’s are just a milk-cow for Wall Street management fees because they are a completely impotent means for retirement and social security funds will be exploited and depleted--this on top of all the other shit going on, what a civilization dumpster fire this is!

Viktor Yanukovych ousted by 328 votes out of 450 total lawmakers voting. The Ukrainian constitution states 3/4 of the 450 lawmakers is needed, he got 328 votes, instead of the needed 338 votes.
The military forced him to flee the country.
How is this not context to the war?
Ukraine was in a union with Russia during the days of the USSR and Russian empire. Ukraine sided with Nazi Germany after USSR was invaded by Germany.
Their far right are associated with those ideologies, in America, the far right is associated with KKK and US - Confederates. What exactly are Ukrainian racists, hate groups and far right nationalists?
