Even though I've never heard of this guy, I'm so excited for this one! There are few things I think about more than the myth of "meritocracy."

DeBoer says that it is wrong that not everyone is equally intelligent and equally competitive? But, people aren't, and you can't simply make everyone equal that way. That's insane thinking. The only way to make everyone equally intelligent is by lobotomizing everyone. Seriously, have you thought about this or are you just trolling for audience?

I think K&K are falling for mass psychosis. Seriously.

It’s one thing to attack *credentialism*, the *false* claims of merit that fueled the careers of Hillary Clinton and Larry Summers and bank presidents and the rest of the neoliberals. But the attack on actual merit is insanity. Do people know they have bridges in Nigeria and they’re designed by actual qualified black people who got their jobs through, you know, merit?? Or that studying hard is how dirt poor southeast Asian immigrants climb the ladder?

Talk equity all you want. Come for my shit and better bring a washcloth to wipe what’s left of your balls off the wall.
