As upsetting it is to read something titled “This Week in Musk” — we’ll take This Week in literally anything else, at this point — we’re loving Judd Legum and Caleb Ecarma’s newsletter Musk Watch, which keeps an eye trained on the decade’s nascent supervillain and the richest man in the world. Here’s the place to get cut-to-the-chase reporting about Elon’s follies and crimes against Americans (especially the extremely illegal ones), buying out federal employees, getting federal student loan data, gaining access to the Treasury for himself and his goons, and much more. It’s not a cheerful read, but it feels deeply necessary — especially as a timely, near-daily record of how our government is evolving around the whims of an unelected official.
