When we were considering who to have on our very first episode, Marianne seemed like the obvious choice. Why? Well she’s maybe uniquely positioned to help make sense of the hell we just lived through in 2020 and situate it in the broader sweep of American history, the current political moment and our own deeply personal experiences with the universe and the human experience. We both also felt like the events of 2020 had brought us closer to some of Marianne’s views, making us more compelled to explore her synthesis of politics with deeper questions about health, happiness, and meaning. She did not disappoint.
I really enjoyed this episode and I have high hopes to see where this will go. I understand this is your podcast, but is there any way subscribers can give some form of suggestion. Like suggest future guests for the show and maybe have the subscriber base vote on those suggestions. I think that in and of itself will promote more subscribers.
Loved hearing her comments. I took notes and wrote to my moderate Democratic house rep. I told him what I want for the M4A vote when it comes on the floor. I used my notes to make my points!
What an absolutely riveting, revealing, heartfelt, super-aware, curiosity filled, humble and WOW start of this so anticipated podcast from an amazing duo!! Thank you for your service guys! 🌟🙏🏼✨
She’s absolutely right and I’ve never heard it put quite that way but all of us of that generation which I’m only a couple years younger than her did feel all the those or for us and why I believe we all ended up with a collective PTSD and so many gave up or sold out. To those of us who haven’t and never will...power to the people! 💥
Kyle! I see you need some studio design. Let me design it for you at no cost. I'm an architect and will give you top notch results! Let the people do it for you
You guys should invest in a larger table so you can have a bit more room between both of you and your guest. I am looking forward to this, with two of my favorite political commentators!
Marianne is so insightful. Authentic. The DNC did her dirty, reflecting democracy’s failings. At times the cast became too Kyle-centric. More Marianne - like her views on the racial divide; or the role of the U.S on global issues, like climate change or capitalism -and less Kyle’s regard for her would have been better.

So have they committed to a day of the week that it'll be released? Will it always be Saturdays? (or a day early for early access).
Good stuff, kids!
This was really terrific and I look forward to hearing your future guests!
