Why are you giving this TERF anti-trans bigot a platform???

Ana Kasparian is a bad faith actor and she already has a massive media platform to troll the left and moralize. She does now is repeat toxic right-wing framing and talking points that constantly attack, distort and create moral panics about left wing political positions that she doesn't understand or agree with.

She is 1000% wrong on these issues and even when her close friends patiently try to explain these issues to her and ask her to step back and listen to the marginalized and oppressed communities she is attacking, she absolutely refuses to do so. And then she plays the victim and viciously attacks them too.

With "friends" like Ana Kasparian who needs enemies? Isn't it bad enough that these right-wing anti-trans and tough on crime policies and narratives already have massive Billionaire funding that creates an echo chamber of hateful stereotypes?

But now we have to have "leftists" constantly repeat those narratives and scold the language of the left as being the problem. And the other "leftists" that are supposed to counter programming these hateful right-wing narratives instead allow their platform to be used to signal boost bigots like Ana Kasparian.

Kyle and Kristal this is unnaceptable. You must do better.

The real issue with Ana Kasparian is her deceptive framing on crime and on immigrant fear mongering. Crime has actually decreased across the country including in New York. Yet she constantly rails about crime. She frames the immigration as a major issue when immigrantion has no affect on most people's lives and immigrants commit crimes at much lower rates than US Citizens. I agree there was NO reason for Ana to bring up the whole "birthing person" again and again and refused to see how under attack the T community when she said those things. She has since drifted further and further right on crime, immigration and isolationist views.

Wow, I really thought if I gave Ana Kasparian another chance I’d like her again. Now I just can’t stand her that much more! Love how she, at a moment when the trans community is fully under attack, can’t even spare an inch to use the phrase “pregnant person”. Well, actually, Ana, there are trans men who have the ability to get pregnant. I actually know a trans guy who just had a baby with his cis boyfriend. Gotta love when a “progressive” turns out to be a TERFy jackass. It would be one thing if she was genuinely asking questions.

That on top of all her fear mongering over immigration, crime, and her ridiculous stance on Biden/Trump I just can’t with her. She fully acknowledges Trump would be SO much worse on this issue she cares about greatly, but doesn’t seem to give a shit about the fact that her abstention from voting for Biden is going to result in that exact worse thing happening. Yes, I’m appalled at Biden’s response (or lack thereof) to Israel’s war crimes too. I protest about it all the time. As a queer person of color I am absolutely terrified of another Trump presidency. Especially with Project 2025 floating around out there.

Ana’s views over the last few years have REALLY shifted. Like, she’s about to be offered a job at Faux News.

I agree, Biden is not a decent candidate and voting for him feels at odds with my humanity given the Democrats' funding of the genocide in Gaza. But I'm still going to vote for him, because not doing so (especially in a swing state) is mathematically a vote for Trump. If Trump wins, I can't help but think this and every other human rights issue will become more normalized and get much worse.

I really like Ana and I agree with her on at least 95% of the issues. And I welcome the remaining 5% disagreement as a chance to broaden of my views. The fact that she's not audience captured by the stereotypic left makes her even more trustworthy imo. I believe there are multiple valid perspectives on different issues in the world. And that's great! We can all learn from each other. My honest impression from Ana is that she's really authentic and I value that so much more than someone who hits all check points from team A or team B. She may not always be right (no one is, and i'm not either), but she's 100% authentic and that's why I trust her 1000%.

Her open-mindedness is inspiring to me and I believe that's the best way to come to a better place for all of us. I enjoyed your friendly constructive attitude to each other and I can't wait to see her on again! She is an honest actor - I have no doubt about that - and I believe she really wants to change thinks to the better. I wish more people would be like her.

When did US have democracy which we are now worried about losing. The Studies have Princeton I’ve shown since early 20 century United States laws passed only reflected 30% opinion of the majority and 90% of top 10% wealthy citizens. United States presidents is not elected based on majority of its citizen, but based on majority of the arbitrary created states and not citizens. The same is true about judiciary which reflects majority of the arbitrary created states not as citizens. The most powerful legislative body senate is not elected based on majority of the United States citizen, but given two senators from each arbitrary created states. As a matter of fact, the constitution was finally crafted to avoid democracy..
