Listen now | In the multi-track beef that’s unfolded in the past few months between rappers Kendrick Lamar and Drake, reputations have been tarnished, #1 hits have been released, and parents have been pulled into the fray. Beginning in late March with “Like That,” the beef now encompasses nine songs (and counting?), giving each rapper a platform to call his opponent’s character into question, slight his rapping skills, and diminish his place of importance in modern pop culture. How did this all start, and where will it end?
Enjoyed the discussion about the rap beef, but really wish they would have asked Anthony about his political background. He studied political science and journalism in college. He was an advocate for Bernie Sanders presidential campaign. Would have loved to hear more about his ideological development and how his political worldview may/may not influence the way in which he consumes/reviews music.
This one was a skip for me - I am thoroughly uninterested in celebrity gossip.
Looking forward to next week though!

I always look forward to getting the internets busiest music nerd’s takes on new music. Love that you guys are fans of him too.
