This is correlated with the Social Control Theory in criminology, where socialization and social learning are exploited as a means of control. Similar to how social media is currently being exploited.
What we've seen are capitalists that have used these theories in order to re-engineer the city, and the fabric of community, as a means of control and to maximize profit through exploitation.
A couple of people on a Facebook page I follow suggested that Elon Musk and Putin hacked our vote. Is this possible? It does seem strange that Kamala lost with all the voter energy behind her. Her rallies and endorsements were astounding, while he babbled racist tropes to shrinking crowds. Elon did seem awfully bouncy--he stands to gain even more billions from this election. He will be in charge of the economy. He has very high security clearance and access. Demand recounts? Put on a tin foil hat?
There's an imbalance of information dissemination both online and in media broadly speaking. Musk happens to own X fka Twitter, in other words he's in control of a website in which information is distributed.
