Also... as if one needed even more proof how extreme right both parties in the US are, as compared to the rest of the world... Here in Canada, with a neo-liberal government (yes, Trudeau is only using the langage of social and environmental justice (pure theater) but, for instance, pushing the discusting Tar Sands pipelines) we have had 2000$ a MONTH, for almost a year at this point... and the Dems can't even get themselves to pass a measly ONE 2000$ that by the way, won them the Senate? Beyond pathetic and immoral. And stupid. And yes, we are all laughing at the US once again. Do you why we had 2000 a month here? Democratic socialist third party, called the NDP, same exact dynamic as in Europeans countries, were minority governments are forced to negociate and are pushed to the left by third parties. Politics 101. Of course, the parliamentary system helps (imagine if Biden himself would be in the House), but yeah, time for thr US to learn something from the rest of the world. And of course, not even getting into Universal Healthcare, which by the way passed in Canada ALSO because of the a third party called NDP, 60 years ago, first in the province of Saskatchewan. Before that, our main cause of bankrupcy was medical bills. It was so popular in Saskatchewan that it became politically toxic of all other provinces to not have it, so even right-wing politicians were forced to move to the left.

I get so frustrated talking with lefties anymore. They're frighteningly close to a Trump voter's mindset, i.e., it doesn't matter whether you DO anything, it only matters if you TALK about doing things. Moreover, they seem far more interested in opposing the right rather than actually making any progress. 90% of my leftie friends are defending the lack of stimulus checks, saying it took nine months to get $600 from Republicans, so anything sooner than that is better and we should just be happy with it. Dems have just become the "marginally better" party and it's sad that so many people are just okay with that.

The best part of the podcast, other than the amazing in depth interviews and amazing analysis of the events of the week, is hearing Krystal curse... :)

Kyle's dad's story shocked me because if he were here in Canada, his Dad 100% would have went to see a doctor first, because we consider having to pay for a chiropractor expensive (I actually have back pain and can't afford a private physio or chiro), so the first instict IS to go to the doctor, it's litterally the opposite... Kyle's dad would still be alive today in a Universal Healthcare system, 100%.

Wow -- the text to the audio is more inspirational that the preceding one to your video !!

Biden just issued 31 drilling permits, lied about $2000 checks, refuses to support a ban on fracking or Green New Deal, hasn’t released the kids in cages, doesn’t support Medicare for All, but according to @AOC he’s working with “grassroots movements.”

This is called gaslighting by Fraud-Squad which spends its time mostly on “cute tweeting”….

And - a new development about St. Obama -- a movie "The Plot Against the President" - a 2021 documentary about involvement of government officials in initiating the “investigation”, that is, about scam of the century that still continues – into “Russian interference” in the 2016 US presidential election.

There will not be "healing and uniting" until Russia-gate hoax is resolved now that insane clown Trump has defeated himself

One bill, one tiny little bill, could take away the GOP’s faithful followers forever. Give $2K/month to each household NOW. Pass it by reconciliation, with Chairman Bernie.

No, by delaying, they are giving the wounded GOP a chance to regroup, and mount a new offensive while the Democrats “work” on getting a one-time $1400 check to the people, someday, if ever.

Can the Democrats be this stupid? Or is is willful ignorance? Or are they playing a game to make sure the duopoly survives for the sake of their wealthy donors? The cynic in me says that they need the Republicans to provide plausible deniability for their inaction.
