As a veteran, as someone who has gone to university using the Post 911 GI Bill, good for the students that are getting debt forgiveness. The GI bill was nice, it's good that my education was covered, the idea that I worked for these benefits and you should have to as well is famine thinking.

I wonder who these special guests will be come Friday, it will be very interesting to see. I have to say, I think it’s time we start regarding going to college as a place for elites, rather than enacting tuition-free public colleges - Maybe we provide tuition-free community colleges - it’s time to make college unnecessary and enact tuition-free trade and vocational school and make it easy to get into them. I say this because of how terrible the job market is for the liberal arts folks, they go into debt, and what are their job markets? Bup kiss!! I actually agree with Bill Maher on this one. Better to enact universal unionization in this country, and tuition-free trade and vocational schools, textbooks covered, etc.
