Nightmare scenario/thought experiment: Kamala Harris could easily be president in 2027 and not need to participate in primary debates... Think about it. Currently, the DNC says that when someone's the president they don't have to debate for the nomination. So, no primary debates for Biden in 2023/24. Well, let's just say Biden gets re-elected, but doesn't finish his term. Seems possible right, Trump will be in lots of legal trouble and Biden might be able to squeak out a victory in 2024. But he's so old that he doesn't finish his term. This also seems quite possible. Well, then we would have President Harris in 2027 and the DNC saying she doesn't need to have debates and even rigging the primary for her. When you take a minute to think about it, it seems like a fairly plausible and nightmarish scenario. What do you think?
