It's hard to appreciate how clear, present and sound Krystal's points are. She is never dull and she also doesn't adopt the 'others are stupid' frame that most commentators use. Her ability to empathically connect with the other side gives her voice and commentary such breadth and depth; to the likes of which I have never seen elsewhere. No disrespect to Kyle or Sagaar but Krystal is in a class of her own; truly an elite in media for her hard work. (elite like michael jordan). I am so happy to have this highlighted by some of your comments. It's easy to think that her perspective and tone is normal; she makes it seem effortless. Compared to every other political commentator I've heard, she is a class above. Enough about her - Thank you Patrick! Most of my adult life I viewed my dad's bankruptcy (in 2008/9) as irresponsible on his part. I saw the horror in his face as he sold everything but his home. He had a small business (as an owner/operator truck driver) and his income was cut by 80% almost overnight. I thought he was bad at math or simply ignorant for taking out loans he couldn't afford to pay; I thought he might be lying about not agreeing to the interest rates which were imposed on his loans (that he couldn't afford after it went from 9.8% to 22%). I can't thank you enough for bringing this all to light -- as the world continues to talk about left/right food fights and most forget how we got here.

I am so appreciative of all of your comments. Again I pray I didn't come across as hitting on Krystal. I wasn't. What you just expressed was exactly what was going through my mind. As far as you reflection of what your dad went through, that's exactly what I went through. I went from 6 figures to busted overnight and I knew it was all bullshit. I started pulling the thread and 13 years later I got all the answers I was looking for and more than I could have ever imagined.
