Genocide is appropriate description. Their are high ranking Israeli official, military officers, and Bibi himself saying as much.
It hardly makes sense to strike up ""semantic" debates. Gaza may not be a "concentration camp". But "the largest open air prison" sounds about right. What's currently happening there may not be a genocide - they don't want all of them dead, they want all of them out. But it's certainly a massive crime. Another one would be to suggest that the hope of a political revolution lies with AOC and the Squad...
Important to note that genocide still applies when it is a part of the population not just the whole population. Look up the UN convention on genocide and see for yourself
I personally agree with this description and find it accurate. I just think that as soon as one uses the terms like "genocide" or "concentration camp", they instantly and inevitably prompt heated and never-ending debates on whether those apply in this case rather than help focusing on the case itself. If and when Netanyahu & Co wind up at The Hague - which, sadly, is probably not gonna happen - there will be the right time and place to qualify their actions in precise legal terms. Given the gravity of the present situation, it makes sense to thoroughly concentrate on what's actually happening there and what can be done now to stop it, not to argue over the definitions...

An Israeli abductee escaped from his being a hostage but was caught by civilian Palestinians and was turned back to Hamas. They are doing everything they can, including killing more civilians then both Russian and Ukraine in 2 years of war, and a number of Children.
