And please name one single libertarian socialist / anarcho-communist that has build such cult of blind following (in such a short time)? (p.s. Lenin was an authoritarian, by any measure)
I just think it's a misnomer to describe his fans and their behavior as cult-like, just as it would be a misnomer to say people who defend Marx or Lenin are cultists (p.s., I mentioned Lenin specifically because of his faults, i.e., my point was that people call him out for what he gets wrong).
It's especially fallacious when much of the criticism seen here has been as devoid of actual thought as the kind of behavior one would typically associate with cultists.
Oh, I don't like Vaush because he grew up in Beverly Hills, or oh, I don't like Vaush because he's popular and aggressive in debate, or oh, I don't like Vaush because false accusation of pedophilia.
If responses to these kinds of vapid criticisms is what gets framed as "cult-like," it seems to me like you're just trying to force a square peg into a round hole. I mean, be my guest if you like, but if your best take is "hurrr Vaush cultists" you're not going to be making any gains with anyone who doesn't already share your disposition.
